                                  Missionaries to Spain

July-August-September 2002

Dear Pastors, family and friends:

Our first few months have been an adventure!  We were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries during the annual retreat at Camp Minnetonka after completing the seminar in July.  Our prayer cards, display board, and video presentation were the next things we needed to accomplish.  The Lord brought the right contacts at the right times in order for us to complete those projects.  We are very pleased with the way we were able to present our information.  We feel things turned out very professionally, yet at the same time show the heart and character of our family.

We have visited several churches already, and the monthly support is beginning to come in.  Our support level is almost at 20%.  Praise the Lord!  We praise God for His faithfulness to us during these months of transition.  God has provided for our every need through His people.  It has been such a blessing for us to know how many people love us and will be praying for us on a regular basis.  Our prayer needs right now are for our health, appointments, and home schooling.  Bill is still recovering from his bout with pneumonia.  His chest x-ray showed some inflammation in his lung from the recent infection.

We will be visiting churches in Michigan every weekend for the next several months.  Bill has been able to fill our schedule with churches that are right here in our area, and know us from our ministry in the community for the last 9 years.  During the week we are busy working with the youth and youth leaders at our home church and Bill is constantly striving to book future appointments.  Thank you for your many prayers for us.
