Dear praying friends:

A lot has happened in the last six weeks! We received word after our last letter was written that our residence permission had been issued. When Bill went to the consulate to get the documents stamped we found that we are required to get visas as well. All documents have been submitted to the Spanish Consulate in Chicago, and we pray that we will receive our visas before our July 14th departure date. If they are not ready by that date we will leave with just passports and Bill will have to make a return trip to Chicago when the visas are ready. It was necessary for us to get over to Spain this summer to fulfill the requirements to keep the residence status. Please pray with us for God's will regarding the timing of our visas.

We moved out of our apartment in Texas at the end of May. After we left Texas, we were glad to be able to visit with Dena's family in Louisiana one more time before we leave the country. While we were there Bill had a neat opportunity to lead a young man to Christ right out in the front yard. It was good to be reminded again that God desires to use our lives no matter where we are. Our container was packed on June 24th and is now in transit to Spain. We are grateful to the many volunteers from our home church that helped with the packing. We couldn't have done it without them! Bro McDonald is looking for an apartment for us and will have several ready for us to look at when we arrive. We will be staying with the McDonald family until we are able to get our own place and get settled. Please pray that God would lead us the right apartment and also that we would be able to find a reliable used vehicle for our family.

We are now visiting family and friends in Michigan until we leave on July 14th. Our church, Temple Baptist Church of Three Rivers, Michigan is having a commissioning service for us on July 10th at 3:00 PM. We would like to invite any of you that are close enough to join us for this special time of prayer. For those who are unable to be here in person, would you commit to pray for us? We need God's power in our lives giving us wisdom and strength during this transitional time. We appreciate each and every one of you more than words can express.

Striving together,

Bill & Dena Rose with Brianna, Kelsey, Jordan, Joshua, and Josiah
