We would like to share some of our prayer requests with you.

Spiritual growth for us and our children

Salvations- that the Holy Spirit would work in the hearts of men

Children’s education

Holy Spirit leading for leadership and pastors of both churches

African church- puchase of property/building

Exchange rate- that the dollar would strengthen

Our language and communication skills with the Spanish

Bill’s mom (Rosemary)- bereavement

Baptisms- that new converts would be obedient to Christ

Youth Bible clubs- Spanish church

1.  Salvation for Manolo, Loli and Nancy.  We were encouraged to see Nancy in church yesterday morning and believe that God is working in her heart.  Please pray with us especially for her this month, that she would be drawn by the Holy Spirit and step out in faith to receive Christ as her savior.  With the McDonalds away, her husband is preaching in the Spanish church right now.

2.  Our children with their schooling.  It has been a difficult month, but it seems that the children are adjusting to their new schools.  Some are handling the work load better than others.  Please pray with us that they will understand their teachers and have a good testimony before their classmates.  Please pray for us as well that we will know how to help them and be able to encourage them and build them up at home so that they are prepared to face the world every day.  After being homeschooled for almost all of their education, this is a very different lifestyle for our children.

3.  Please pray for us to have good time management and organizational skills.  We have had a lot of extra responsibility and added stress this last month.  We were also unable to attend driving school all month because of extra tasks that Bill had been asked to do and also because of the kids' schooling.  (As a note- Here, it is not like it is in the States, where the schools buy the books.  Just trying to buy the kids books and school supplies kept Dena running around and standing in lines the better part of 5 days.  Before she was all done, she needed to go to 6 different stores and also request special orders!  What a mess!!!)  Please pray for us that we will be able to attend class and study without further distractions so that we can get the driver's license testing taken care of.
