Salvation at age 5. Baptism at age 10.

Married June 1992 to Dena Lenay Shirley who was saved at age 16 and baptized two months later.

Both Bill & Dena surrendered to a general call to missions before their marriage.

*Graduated from Howardsville Christian High School in 1988.

*Graduated from Word of Life Bible Institute, New York in 1989.

*Graduated from Word of Life School of Youth Ministries with an Associate Degree 1990.

*Graduated from Arlington Baptist College, Arlington Texas with a Bachelor of Science in General

Studies in 1993.

III. Previous Church Employment

*Youth intern for 2 years at Grace Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas under Pastor Ronnie Williams.

*9 years at Temple Baptist Church, Three Rivers, MI under his father, Pastor Mike Rose.

IV. Preparation to be a church planter

Growing up in a pastor’s home, Bill had first hand experience helping to plant Temple Baptist Church in Three Rivers, MI. He returned there after college as the first youth pastor to begin the new work with youth. He also helped begin the first time-release chapels for area public high school and junior high school students. These experiences and God’s call give him confidence as a church planting missionary.
